Posada Galapagos Los Roques.

Facing the lagoon. With Restaurant and Piano Bar open to the public. With a recent change in ownership, (the owners also are resident hosts), many nice changes have taken place. They acquired the adjacent property to the rear, where they had torn down all interior walls and space has become available for more Rooms (suites), and a nice restaurant with piano bar, now offering some of the best cocktails in Los Roques.

TYPE:     Lodge / Posada.
LOCATION:    Gran Roques, 4th Street # 145, facing the lagoon, Parque Nacional Los Roques.
ROOMS:    13 ample and nicely appointed rooms. These include 7 new ones, 2 of which have 2 levels (with living area and bath below, K or D and closet above) and 1 with a balcony with view toward the plaza. All have bath/hot water, ceiling fan, AC, mini-safe, DirecTV, high wood ceilings, attractive tile floors with the look of quarry stone, different painted marine scenes in each one, and a true novelty which has been a total hit: a cell phone (with pre-paid card) in each room for guests to use during their stay (even outside the posada). The hall passing between the rooms has been named "Calle La Laguna" and the walls painted to look like a typical street, with a distinct facade for each room with different external lights for each one, all giving it a nice atmosphere. What had been a long enclosed porch in front of the rooms facing the lagoon has been divided to provide a private patio for each of those rooms (labeled suites), with door opening directly to it.
FOOD:     Excellent mixed cuisine prepared by different chefs in the newly made Churuata.
FACILITIES:     Incorporating the elegant bar from the former legendary Aventino restaurant in Caracas, a Churuata... A new restaurant and Piano bar with a large social area (even with garden) just for guests. The exterior has likewise been completely repainted. Italian and Spanish spoken.

From December the 15th to January the 15th: $100 a day per person.

Additional half day $30 per person.

Low season and the rest of the year:

2 days / 1 night: $130 (weekends).

2 days / 1 night: $120 (weekdays).

Offer until 15th of December 6 days / 5 nights: $550 per person.

Additional day / night: $95 per person.

Assistance and Transfer in Los Roques + full board (all meals with beverages), and day tour to nearest islands including picnic lunch, transfer to nearby keys, use of beach chairs + umbrellas + snorkeling gear.
