Only by reservation. The second posada on the left on this street; very pretty inside and out. Separating the open-plan kitchen from living-dining area is a large dark wood bar curved in an arc complemented by the semi-circular shape of the built-in sofa opposite it. Lots of decorative details for a cozy feeling. Open central stairway to roof-top terrace also allows natural light to enter social area.

ROOMS:	5 attractive rooms with bath, fan. Basic package with just breakfast+dinner; 1 N/1 D.
FOOD:	Excellent mixed cuisine prepared by chef.
FACILITIES:	(with transfer to distinct keys from the usual one beside Gran Roque with picnic lunch, dinner, lodging, breakfast); 1 N/2D (with the same as the last, but +transfer to a different key+picnic the second day and late afternoon check-out). The friendly owners, Margarita Pasquale and her husband Stefano Palmerini, personally attend to guests. Italian, Portuguese, and a little English spoken.

GETTING THERE: As option are internal flights from Caracas (45 minutes) price $120 - $160.

Flight leaves: Maiquetía - Los Roques at 6.30 or 8:30 hours in the morning arriving at Los Roques at 9:15 hours.

Departure: Los Roques - Maiquetía 17:00 arriving at Maiquetía national airport at 17:45 hours.
