the rooms have a private bathroom and a ceiling fan. Posada La
Quigua counts with 6 bedrooms for maximum capacity for 14
persons. There are two triple rooms (1king size bed and a single
bed), three double rooms with a queen size bed and one room with
2 single beds. The rooms are decorated with finds from owners
travels around the world. |

This
posada is made in the traditional Venezuelan style, with all
teak wood construction, and all the modern applications
necessary to enjoy your stay.
Three meals a day, and all drinks, are included in your stay, as
is wine with dinner. Great emphasis is placed on freshness,
variety, and quality, with most of the food (except from the
fresh fish) bought in Caracas and flown in by plane. Breakfast
consists of fresh juices, breads and pastries, eggs, and
whatever is fresh that day. For lunch at the beach, a picnic
lunch cooler is packed for you with sandwiches, snacks and
drinks. Sometimes the owner arranges to have lunch made for the
guests at a local fisherman's place. Dinner is always full of
choices, depending on what is fresh, but there is always a fish
or meat, and a pasta or rice dish, as well as salads and
desserts. Meals are shared around the large table, which seats
twelve guests. Posada has own boat.. Spanish, Italian and
English spoken. |
